      <image:title>Work - Undo-Replay - The Toy Surgeon’s Handbook</image:title>
<image:caption>Research for this project found a pattern of inaccessibility in sustainable toy and play solutions that often limit their impact. Consequently, the challenge was to design a new and accessible way to revalue toy waste. The elements in this structure aim to introduce children to adult toy hobbyist communities in a way that is accessible and approachable, and presents a variety of activities that appeal to children with varying interests and skillsets. The Toy Surgeon’s Handbook lists tools that users can find at home, tutorials on common repairs, amputation and modifications.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Work - Blooming Isles - Blooming Isles</image:title>
<image:caption>Blooming Isles is a self-watering planter and vase collection. Plants naturally will draw water from the resin water reservoir through the cotton wick. The transparent body of the reservoir shows users clearly when more water is needed. Visually this results in the steel soil compartment hanging from the top appearing like a “floating island”. My final process involved piecing together laser-cut acrylic panels to create an original form that I would then use to create a silicone mould to then cast the resin bodies. The soil compartments were made from laser cut stainless steel sheet, bent and riveted together.</image:caption>

Heat-formed protuding grooves allow for “wave” shaped cuts, easy to clean with one swipe. The grooves produce thin, undulating sheets of cheese instead of traditional shreds that crumble with gentle pressure in the hand, breaking at each thin point. The lack of tight corners makes it easy to clean, and the open tunnel form keeps all surfaces accessible.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Wiggle Cheeks are an eyewear fashion concept that explores making human expression a wearable product. The shape of the lense aims to emulate “happy eyes”, with room at the bottom of the lenses for rising smiling cheeks. Inspired by flexible glasses that use a titanium nickel alloy, the frame is modelled like a spring. Only rounded bends are used across each piece so the glasses can fold over themselves into the size of just one lens and bounce back when needed for use.</image:caption>
